China would expand the scale and number of its RFID pilots in the near future. In
addition to Qingdao, which has RFID pilots covered six areas: Logistics Management,
Production Management, Container Management in port, Vehicle Management, Tire
Manufacturing and Sale Management; Beijing, Shanhai, Tianjing, Shenzhen, Dalian,
Chendu, Najing and other cities will participate to start RFID pilots.

RFID Improves Operational Efficiency Rapidly

\"Ministry of Information Industry is making great effort to promote RFID
applications in cities holding Olympic events, such Beijing and Tianjing.\" Officials
in the ministry told reporters. 2008 Olympic Game will adopt RFID technology to
fight against counterfeit, inspecting electronic tickets contactlessly. Another
major RFID application is for vehicle management. For example, affixing a RFID tag
in front of every bus rapid transit (BRT) to record the status of certain bus,
traffic polices then adjust the time period of green light base on traffic
conditions. It says the introduction of RFID improve operational efficiency by 60%,
alleviating the traffic jam greatly.

More and more RFID applications are adopting these days, Wal-Mart required products
shipping from its suppliers must be tagged to reduce labor costs and eliminate
manual errors; Pepsi Cola planned to manufacture 33 billion wireless tracking labels
before 2010. According to marketing research company In??Stat, the total mount of
RFID products in 2010 will be 25 times more than that of 2005, reaches 33 billion
dollar.

RFID in National Identity Card

The vice-director general of Radio Administration Bureau Mr. FeiBo Xie said, with
the vigorous development of Golden Card Project and IC card applications, RFID
technology have already been applied in actual cases in China. Ministry of Public
Security has already issued 370 million new national identity cards, which contain
RFID chips. By the end of 2008, it estimates 900 million new ID cards will be in
use.

With the increasing number of mobile communication applications, integrate RFID in
mobile phone will eventually become a trend. Japanese telecommunication operator
NTTDoCoMo provides e-wallet service with RFID cell phone; South Korea SK uses RFID
cell phone to authenticate ginseng products by reading RFID tags. Telecommunication
operators in China also start to invest to develop three-in-one cell phone:
